Unfortunately on this project we’ll be using the Devils mortar as my big mate Cozza the roofer likes to call it, and by devils mortar… I mean cement. Cement and sharp sand to be precise.
We will be pointing it in lime for all the nae sayers, I’m not happy either but hey ho.
The wall you’re looking at has taken 3 men (one stonemason, one brickie and another bricklayer labouring) just shy of 3 and a half days.
