This video is ideal for those who don't have much space to grow plants, or for those who have space, but are always looking for ideas on how to arrange plants in a beautiful way.
I'm going to teach you how to assemble an easy-to-make, quick and cheap stand and the results are surprising!
The materials needed are:
- A clay or cement pot (as they are heavier)
- A PVC pipe
- Crushed stone to secure the pipe
- Palm fiber and moss
- Hot glue
- Natural yarn
- Various epiphytic orchids (I used 10)
The first step is to cover the PVC pipe with the fiber and moss, I used hot glue to start and then tied it well with the thread.
Then I placed the pipe inside the vase (it needs to be at least a third inside the vase to provide stability) and added crushed stone until the vase was almost complete.
Then I carefully removed the orchids from the pots, and with a piece of fiber protecting the roots, I tied each one of them. I alternated them so they were well distributed.
The result was beautiful, and with this vase we can grow several plants on the same support, optimizing space and creating a living sculpture.
