Let’s talk about two similar grammar forms – (으)나 마나 and 봤자. Both of these can be used to say “even though,” and are used to express that “it doesn’t matter” or “it’s no use” or “don’t bother doing something.” But each form has its own rules, and is slightly different. Both of these are intermediate level grammar forms, and are not recommended for beginners.
