Lets Draw a Cube with "One Point Perspective"
1) We start with a "Square", because cubes are made out of six squares of the same size!
2) We draw the front face of our cube first, with a red marker.
3) Then we choose a "Vanishing Point" on our paper.
4) We can put the square and/or the vanishing point anywhere we want on the paper. That's the beauty of drawing perspective, freedom!
5) Now, we draw the guiding perspective lines with a light yellow marker.
6) Simply start from each corner of the square and arrive to the vanishing point.
7) It's time to draw the back edges of the cube now. Find out where to put them by comparing the placement of your vanishing point to the placement of your square.
8) Finally the most fun part, connecting the dots! Connect the three corners on the back and front edges of your cube with the red marker.
9) Our cube is done and it looks great with a strong perspective!
10) Why not define our cube even better with a thick black marker and paint its three visible sides with primary colors: Red, Blue and Yellow.
