Do you want to improve your Spanish communication? Start building your vocabulary with words that native Spanish speakers use in real-life contexts! Your words are the bricks of your Spanish wall: BUILD THE WALL! The more Spanish words you add, the stronger your Spanish gets. In this lesson I will teach you how to talk about your food using a wide array of words. And you will learn to use the correct Spanish verbs with your foodie words. You will learn if something "es bueno" or "está bueno". You will learn the different ways to say something is good, to express when something is overcooked, greasy, dry, juicy, spicy, sweet, rotten, or cooked to perfection. You will learn many Spanish adjectives and words that describe the taste of a food. Even more, you will learn that some words that are used to describe Spanish foods are also used to describe people. For example, do you know what it means to say someone is salty in Spanish? Oh, you don’t know! Good! Because this is a great reason to watch this lesson and find out if you are salty or not. This video not only will teach you more words, this video will also show you to use them in context. You will learn some good phrases that will come in handy when you are conversing with your Spanish friends. I will also test you at the end of the lesson to check that you paid attention, and if you did not, you will get a tache. Watch my video and learn many words that are currently used in Spanish. Notes and recap for this video: “It is good” in Spanish: Está sabroso, está delicioso, está exquisito, está bueno, está rico, esta riquísimo. When do you use the verbs ser & estar? Remember that at the moment you are eating you use “está”. When you want to express the nature of a food, you use the verb ser, “es”. Saying panza llena, corazón contento, happy belly, happy heart means that you have eaten and you are happy, literally your belly is full so your heart is happy :) It is not that good in Spanish: "No está tan bueno". Tell me, what is the effect of eating a mango verde? What is the difference between amargo & amargado? You do not know? Watch the lesson again! Remember that if I speak slowly and you want to speed up the video, you can go to setting, the wheel, and change the speed of the video to 1.25 or 1.5 or 1.75.
