Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Rising inflation, stagnant wages, and a sluggish economy are the current reality for many countries, but Lebanon shows a collapse of a much greater scale. Lebanon is currently experiencing the worst economic crisis the world has seen in the last 150 years. A third of the population lives below the poverty line, prices are spiraling out of control, and the national currency is devaluing so rapidly that it has already lost over 97% of its value. Citizens are deprived of access to their own bank accounts, and essential resources like fuel and electricity have become luxuries. Lebanon's history is a slow-motion disaster. Everyone saw it coming, but various political forces simply stood by and watched as their country plunged into the abyss.

In this video, we will explain why Lebanon, once called the Switzerland of the Middle East, has become one of the poorest countries in the world.
