LED's, including those of various colors, have largely replaced incandescent light bulbs in most model railroad applications. In this video I'll show you how to test LED brightness and calculate the size of resistors required to drop the voltage to a safe level before you install LEDs. I'll also share with you some tips on where to find suggested voltage and current values for different color LEDs. Finally I show you how to light bicolor LEDs for use in signals and marker lights.
