My recipe for thinning acrylic paint is as follows:
For acrylic paint use 1 part paint to 3 parts American Floetrol. Slowly add water if needed while stirring to reach the same consistency I used in this video. Paint should look like runny yogurt and leave a slight trace on the surface.
