In this video I show you how to mix the chemistry, coat your paper and expose a Cyanotype, one of the oldest photographic processes invented in 1842 by the astronomer, Sir John Herschel.

Chemistry:
Potassium Ferrocyanide
Ferric Ammonium Citrate
Formula is in two parts:
Part 1 - Potassium Ferrocyanide 25g in 100ml distilled water
Part 2 - Ferric Ammonium Citrate 25 g in 100ml distilled water
Mix equal parts to coat your paper for exposure. Expose and then develop and wash in plain water. Hang to dry.
