If you love sticky toffee pudding, you will love these! They are super moist, mapley, and extra sweet! Sweet-tooth friends this ones for you! I used Pepe Saya's Maple butter and Caramels to help make these cupcakes that little bit extra and wow did they deliver! Thank you kindly to Pepe Saya for gifting me these beautiful products.
CUPCAKES INGREDIENTS:
300g plain flour
1 1/4tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp bicarb of soda
1/2 tsp ground ginger
75g Pepe Saya Maple butter (use unsalted butter if cant find)
60g brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
1 egg
200ml good quality maple syrup (avoid flavoured)
80ml buttermilk / sour cream / plain yoghurt
MAPLE CREAM CHEESE BUTTERCREAM INGREDIENTS:
150g butter (softened)
60g cream cheese
80g brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
120ml good quality maple syrup (avoid flavoured)
160g icing sugar
