In this video we go over how to improve the Sovol SV08 inductive probe, and how to swap out the fan that runs all the time and is far to loud!!! I also share my PETG, and PLA settings. All settings and changes to the printer.cfg are below.

Orca Slicer settings:
For PLA - use the SOVOL base and change the following
Flow Ratio I went up to .99 from .98
Flow Speed set to 21
Temp I have at 220, 218 - depending on PLA your using this may change a bit - I was using VoxelPLA+ for this testing.
Pressure Advance - you can turn this on, start with .05
Also experimented with under Advanced: enable wipe while retracting
PETG
Under overrides:
Enable length = 0.5
Enable Z hop = 0.4
Nozzle temp 240, 235 to start
Flow Ratio = .95
Flow Speed = 15 to start - if using a high speed PETG you can try 18-21
First layer speed I have down to 30mm
First layer infill I have down to 70-80mm
