____________________________ Lexus GX 460 with Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro Stage 2 Suspension & 33” BFG KO2 My Instagram: longkieustuff https://https://www.instagram.com/longkieustuff/ First impressions after driving for a few days and testing at the off road park: The ride feels much tighter. It doesn't feel as floaty and bouncy when hitting bumps. There is much less nose dive. Other than that the ride feels smooth and planted. When off roading I can drive much faster than I normally would. The added height and travel gave me more confidence to tackle obstacles. Everything we tried it was able to do just fine. Currently very happy happy with the setup and have no complaint! I do now want to add a KDSS bypass switch for high speed driving on dirt to make it more floaty over bumps. Ironman 4x4 Foam Cell Pro Stage 2 kit I went with 2.5” front, 2 inch rear with the softest springs. I do have some weight on the vehicle but I prefer a softer ride. I was considering heavy springs but then I went on a trip and was riding in my boy’s truck for a few minutes. I was almost sick from how harsh it was so I think twice and would rather live with some sag than having jarring ride. Let’s see how it is after settling and adding some stuff to it soon. It already feels tighter than stock when driving home. I think this is a job I could do at home but I didn’t have the tools to. The shop that installed it was Swat Customs in Fremont California. They specialize in Toyotas and knowledgeable in answering all my questions. They were flexible to work with me through all the ocd I had. I gave them all the info I was able to gather regarding alignment to fit tires… they said they’ll always align the wheels as far forward as possible. They seem to have known everything already which makes me confident to trust them. I dropped the car off in the morning and they waited for FedEx to deliver around noon and installed. They asked me to bring the car back in 2 weeks to re-torque everything and solve issues if there is any. Why did I go with ironman? I haven’t seen a bad review from anyone that have them and this is sold as a complete kit which makes my life easier. Also, idk why but I’m kind of an Ironman 4x4 fan and wanted the ironman fcp since I got the truck. The tires were the perfect setup I was looking for. 285/70r17 C rated. The size seems like the sweet spot and not have to to do a bmc. I also preferred the C rated for softer ride again. I decided to go with KO2 again because they have served me well for the stuff I’ve been doing. I like the aggressive tread & side wall. I also think they look the best for an AT tire. I’m lucky to have found a perfect set on a good deal with such low mileage(2k miles driven) looks brand new. Also I learned white lettering looks good when new but looks really dirty after the sidewalls has been used. The kit was $2000, $90 shipping plus $205 tax. The shop was a dealer and gave a better price. It was $2460 total on the website at 25% sale no prebuilt. The suspension install $1175 after negotiated including alignment. The tires were bought used from a Jeep Rubicon take off. The seller only had 2k miles driven on them. Listed price was $1000 after negotiating was $750 for x5. There were better deals out there but nothing as new as this and in a set of 5. The same shop mounted them. Mounting & balance price was $110 after price matching with America’s tires. 88Rotors gave a price of $3000 +tax for the kit installed on special. I don’t know how they do it but it wasn’t worth the drive. They also don’t include or even do alignment. ____________________________
