Florida isn't a place associated with steep terrain and landslides, but the state has experienced at least one pretty big one. This video talks about the landslide and shows where it happened, along with the surrounding landscape. The Florida Panhandle actually has fairly rugged topography, and some of the steep slopes between flat uplands and stream valleys or swamps can experience landslides. A Microsoft Paint diagram and some cool lidar imagery are used to tell the tale and highlight one of Florida's most interesting regions.
