Akali Phula Singh (1761-1823), ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਨਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹਸਤੀ ਸੀ । ਅਕਾਲੀ ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 14 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1761 ਈ: ਨੂੰ ਪਿਤਾ ਸ: ਈਸ਼ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇਹਲਾ ਸੀਹਾਂ, ਤਹਿਸੀਲ ਸੁਨਾਮ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਇਆ। ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ 14 ਮਾਰਚ 1823 ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਲਈ ਨੌਸ਼ਹਿਰਾ (ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ) ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਬਰ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦਾ ਟਾਕਰਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਹਰ ਸਾਲ 14 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ “ਅਕਾਲੀ ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ” ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਬੜੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। Akali Phula Singh Ji ਇੱਕ ਸਰਾਓ ਜਾਟ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ। ਮਿਸਲ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਈਸ਼ਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 1762 ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਘੱਲੂਘਾਰੇ (ਮਹਾਨ ਘੱਲੂਘਾਰੇ) ਵਿਚ ਲੜਾਈ ਲੜੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਮ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਛੋਟੀ ਉਮਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ, ਅਕਾਲੀ ਫੂਲਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਿਸਲ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਥੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ।
