වෛතිලිංගම් සෝර්නලිංගම් සැප්තැම්බර් 1949 ඉපිද 2001 සැප්තැම්බර් 26 වන දින ශ්රී ලංකා දිගුදුර විහිදුම් විශේෂ බලකා හමුදා සෙබළු අතින් මරණයට පත් වෙනවා.බොහෝ විට ඔහුගේ නාමය කොටි සංවිධානය තුල කර්නල් ශංකර් ලෙස හදුන්වනු ලැබේ. දෙමළ ඊළම් විමුක්ති කොටි සංවිධානයේ ගුවන් අංශයේ සහ නාවික අංශයේ නිර්මාතෘවරයාද වන්නේ කර්නල් ශංකර්. ශංකර් කියල කියන්නේ කොටි සංවිධානයේ නායක වේලුපිල්ලේ ප්රභාකරන්ගේ ඥාතියෙක්.
ඔහු ශ්රී ලංකාවේ අධ්යාපනය ලැබූ අතර, නැවත ශ්රී ලංකාවට පැමිණ එල්ටීටීඊයට බැඳීමට පෙර කැනඩාවේ කලක් සේවය කර තිබෙනවා. ඉතින් ඔන්න අද මම පැහැදිලි කරන්න යන්නේ ltte ප්රබල ත්රස්ත නායකයෙක් වන කර්නල් ශංකර් ගැනයි.

Vaithilingam Sornalingam was born in September 1949 and was killed by Sri Lanka Long Range Special Forces soldiers on September 26, 2001. His name is often called Colonel Shankar in the LTTE. Colonel Shankar is also the founder of the air wing and naval wing of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. Shankar is a relative of Prabhakaran, the leader of the LTTE.
He was educated in Sri Lanka and worked in Canada for a while before returning to Sri Lanka and joining the LTTE. So today I am going to explain about Colonel Shankar, who is a strong terrorist leader of LTTE.
