9 children were raised in this house by immigrants, Alexander and Mollie Kaiser during the toughest years on the Alberta prairies. They endured dry summers filled with grasshoppers, rabbits and dust clouds that devastated their crops. The long icy winters were especially difficult in such an isolated part of the province.
The family persevered and endured the hardships together. They built a warm, loving family bond and spent many happy years in the home.
Alex and Mollie retired in 1959 and spent the remainder of their years together visiting their children and 26 grandchildren. A Life's Work Well Done!
