I decided to add some Chevy S10/Blazer leaf springs to my Jeep Cherokee XJ to lift and level the back end. They call this creating a "Bastard Pack" leaf pack. My Jeep was sagging from a combination of age and the 250+ Lbs of tools that I keep back there.
In this video I show you the process of pulling the leaves from a donor vehicle in the junk yard, disassembling you current spring pack, and creating the new pack.
While I did not do this to lift the vehicle above stock height (I was only "leveling" it) this process CAN be used to add several inches of lift to your Jeep Cherokee XJ
