LIGHTING THEORY in 20 minutes // the fundamentals of lighting and shadow

Lighting. The meat and potatah’s of our artwork. But how do we ACTUALLY learn about it? How do we actually USE it? In today’s video, we’re becoming art detectives again and opening up a new case. We’ll be diving deep into the theory of light and shadow, how they work together, and how we can use them in our own artwork!



I’ll also be demoing some of these theories and techniques in an all-new gouache illustration, and FINALLY finishing up my coffee shop miniature kit.
