📌 The Ingredients To Make Shortbread Cookies
Makes about 3 - 4 dozen cookies
• Unsalted butter 226 g (2 US sticks)
• Powdered sugar 90 g (3/4 US cup)
• Vanilla extract 1 tsp
• All-purpose flour 290 g (2 1/3 US cups.) * Updated
• Cornstarch 25 g (3 Tbsp)
• Salt 1/2 tsp
** For best results, measure ingredients with a scale. All recipes are designed with weighed ingredients using grams/ounces. Cup measurements are provided for your convenience. **
Bake at 350 F 175 C (Preheated) for about 13 - 15 minutes or longer until the edge gets lightly golden brown.
* Bake longer depending on the thickness and size of the cookies, oven, etc.
[For pressed cookies]
Bake at 350 F | 175 C (Preheated) for 35 - 40 minutes or longer until the surface gets lightly golden brown.
* It’s crispy already, but bake at 300 F | 150 C for 25 - 30 minutes if you want it to be more flaky.
* I used an 8-inch (20 cm) tart pan today.
