...Oh boy. This fight took ages. You see that extension length? I'm pretty sure that accounts for 1/3 of the fight's length. I got 4 hours of sleep because sunk cost fallacy dictated that I NEEDED to beat this Canto before going going to sleep. Worth it. Not really.
My Sinners dropped like flies. My team composition was a bit screwy because I wanted to use Fixers. The idea was that I would use Fixers for parts 1-2 because Don likes fixers, and for part 3 I would use Bloodfiend ID's because the illusion is broken. But then Project Moon decided to push back the other Bloodfiend ID's to past part 3, so I only had Barber Rodya and a bunch of fixers from all walks of life that have no real synergy with each other. I don't regret this decision at all. The only full team here was Cinq Don, Sinclair, and Meursault. But Meur ended up dying during the first part of the fight which sucked because I was hinging on his absurd rolls powered by Regret.
I would like a special shoutout to Zwei Gregor. Dude refused to buckle. Even as everyone was falling around him, he refused to give up his position as our shield. He was our first backup Sinner and one of our last survivors. I used him for so many clashes and he just would not lose. Even his S1 won some clashes it really shouldn't have. Thanks, Gregor.
I think this might be a controversial opinion, but I really love unbreakable coins. Having to deal with taking damage makes fights all the more stressful and made me rethink some strategy's. The sound of Sinner's being staggered was like a shot of panic every time it happened. I ended up having only 6 Sinners left who pulled through. That was so much fun. Might be my top fight in Limbus.
I feel a little less confident in this loop the more I listen to it. Maybe I should have tried something a little different, like include more instrumental bits for the story sections outside that last one. But when I listen to the First Two Parts loop, I find myself missing how the last part of this extension plays out. What a conundrum...
One, two! One, two, three, fouw!
We're swaying on horseback
The hills are green
And the birdies sing
And roses are pink
Experience I never had
I'm so happy
Happy to just be part of your story
After you I follow
After you I follow
The world you show me broaden my horizon
Forever my hero
Forever my hero
I am your biggest fan
I am your biggest fan
Merry-go-round
In a circle I run
It's so much fun leaving reality behind
One, two! One, two, three, fouw!
I fall down the horseback
With my crippled legs
And then it starts to rain
Showing me it's all fake
Raindrops wash down the facade
Hills are painted
Birdies are robotic
Roses are made of clay
Excitement that I feel
Excitement that I feel
Return them to the shelf
Cause now I understand
Heroes cannot be real
Heroes cannot be real
I wasn't who I am
I don't know who I am
¿Who am I?
¿Who am I?
¿Who am I?
Why is it that some were given the role of villain
The moment they were released into this system?
One, two! One, two, three, fouw!
Here we go, another lap
Prizes to claim
Here's a dream for you
Here's a dream for me
Golden tickets in my bag stay unexchanged
Don't you love the thrill of the chase?
Just let me be your fan
I wanna be your fan
I'm still your biggest fan!
Why is it that some were given the role of villain
The moment they were released into this system?
One, two! One, two, three, fouw!
Stand up
Gallop on
Nothing can be done by feeling so sorry for myself
Hero
On a plastic horse
Fighting like it's real
With a cardboard sword
I know
Successful or not, I am who I am
I am my biggest fan
I am my biggest fan
I am my enemy and my friend
Hero
Gonna prove my version of justice
Is more just than yours
Uno
Remaining on this stage, I am the only one
I am my biggest fan
I am my biggest fan
I am my enemy and my friend
