Adam Woodlee of Wide Open Design shows you how to measure to determine the correct length limit strap you need to install to provide the maximum travel out of your shocks. The correct length will keep the shock from bottoming out to provide safety and protection for your suspension. In our example: Measurement of where tabs are placed 18.50 eye to eye - 1.50 stretch amount (see below) --------------------------- 17 inch strap To get stretch amount 18.50" length eye to eye x .083 stretch factor (1/12; or 1" per 12" of strap) ---------- 1.54" HOW TO: 1. Add tabs that are in line with each other. When the strap is fully extended, should stay nice and straight. 2. Measure from the center of the hole of one tab to the center of the hole of the other tab 3. Do the simple math equation to get correct strap length needed 4.
