Join me for a walk around the heart of the third-largest city in Northern Ireland: Lisburn! The birthplace of Ireland's linen trade, and the home of a range of riveting historic landmarks from its former castle to a soaring cathedral, and much more - Lisburn isn't often touted as one of the main destinations on a trip to Northern Ireland, but there's a lot more to the city than first meets the eye!
On our walk around Lisburn, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including Castle Gardens, the Wallace Memorial Fountain, Castle House, Lisburn War Memorial, Lisburn Old Town Hall, Market Square, the Nicholson Statue, Market House (Lisburn Museum & Irish Linen Centre), Bow Street, Haslem's Lane, Lisburn Square, Smithfield Square, Market Street, Lisburn First Presbyterian Church, Lisburn UDR Memorial, Lisburn Cathedral, Lisburn Orange Hall, Railway Street Presbyterian Church, the Bridge Community Club, and Lisburn Railway Station.
