Made from 4mm thick aluminum, our engine guard is significantly more robust than the plastic original. The thick material delivers much better protection against impacts and damage, especially when riding in demanding conditions.
Together with the Skidplate, you will also get a protection plate for the rear brake cylinder, which is an uncovered part that is unfortunately exposed from the factory. Our design protects not only the engine but the brake cylinder as well. In the rear part of the skid plate, there are four pre-drilled holes, ready for addition of the rubber protector of the rear shock absorber, that is included in the package.
