In this video I show you how to crochet the Log Cabin Square using Linen Stitch. This is a great scrap busting pattern, as you only need small amounts of different colour yarns. I think it looks great with speckled/variegated yarns, but it would also be very effective in solid colours. For 8ply/DK yarn you need a 4.5mm hook, if you would like to use finer 4ply weight yarn use a 3mm hook and your squares will be smaller.
