LIVE: Winter storms brings historic snowfall to the south, Florida, New Orleans, Houston, Carolinas

Florida spent Tuesday preparing for its most significant bout of winter weather since 1989. This as impacts are being seen across the south. Grounds stops being implemented at several airports including in New Orleans and Atlanta's busy Hartfield's Jackson International Airport.

Other places in the South are also experiencing some historic snowfall, that includes Houston, South Georgia, New Orleans, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Carolinas.
