Video Not Working? Fix It Now

We quit our jobs and followed our smallholding dream in 2017. The small farm had been abandoned and mostly overgrown for the past 80 years. None of the houses were livable, so we started our new life here in a camper, along with our cat. We brought chickens, ducks, and bees with us on the journey. This is a quick look at our slow life—our transition to the rhythms of rural living with Mangalitsa pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks, a dog, a donkey, and lots of dreams. We used the sheep to clear brush and bushes and the pigs to till the soil. Slowly, over the past seven years, we have reclaimed pastures, created vegetable gardens, and worked towards self-sufficiency in food and other necessities.
