The ReSpeaker Lite Voice Assistant Kit from Seeed Studio is designed to be used with Home Assistant and other smart home platforms to provide local voice control of your smart home devices. This kit uses an ESP32-S3 board to communicate with Home Assistant and provides big audio output and noise cancelling dual microphones for noisy environments.
This video covers installing Piper, OpenWakeWord, Whisper in Home Assistant, and using ESPHome to flash the ESP32-S3 board. I then add the board to Home Assistant and demonstrate voice controlling some of my lights.
