Log splitter hydraulic press. 8tonne log splitter. I put 500x 75x75x5mm with a couple spacers on the ram end and 150mm long piece in front of the splitting edge. I bent a 100x100x100x5 piece or right angle and put some spacers in it to protect the splitter. Welded it all up with braces where I thought it needed them. I originally used 35mm dies but have since made a 25mm rounding die on one side to speed up the drawing out. I will use the 35mm ones for setting welds and then the 25 and 35 to draw out. The 8t press isn’t strong enough for the 35mm wide dies. It did work just was slower than needed.
