Longarm machine quilting on the Tulapalooza quilt - Part2 - Sashing/Filler/Borders. Designed and made by the Modern Quilters of the Ozark Piecemakers Quilt Guild in Springfield Missouri. This quilt was raffled off in Sept of 2019 to help raise money for their many charitable projects. All designs are quilted free-hand on a APQS Millennium longarm quilting machine but these designs and techniques can also be accomplished on a sit-down machine. Dorie Hruska is a free motion quilting teacher and APQS dealer. Best known for her connecting designs and techniques as found in her book Making Connections, A Free-Motion Quilting Workbook. Her books and Stencils are available at https://www.forever-quilting.com/ . Great lighting is necessary when quilting. Dorie uses the Quilta Lamp by The Daylight Company, that is attached to her longarm handles, to light up the area around her needle. This lamp can be attached to many different brands of longarm and can be ordered at https://daylightcompany.com/ . (check the Daylight Company's website for a list of compatible brands) Connect with Dorie on social media: https://www.facebook.com/forever.quilting https://www.instagram.com/foreverquilting/ https://twitter.com/ForeverQuiltin
