This is an arrangement that I've wanted to do for years, but between lack of suitable software and frustration of trying to figure out all the notes behind the multi-competing synths, I just never got around to hammering it out. Until now, that is!
Look-a-like was always a silly song to me, lyrically, but I loved the synth overlays and overall mood of the piece. It set the tone pretty well for the OVA, and will always be a nostalgic tune for me personally.
My arrangement's certainly not perfect, but I'm proud of what I was able to do with it by ear alone. I also had to get creative with some of the synths to make up for not being able to directly replicate the ones in the original song, as well as the lack of vocals for the rhythmic spoken-word portion of the song.
I am really happy to have been able to finally complete this tune, and I sincerely hope you all enjoy it as well. As always, thanks for listening!
