🔍 About Loretta Ross
Loretta J. Ross, an academic and activist. She is a Professor at Smith College, focusing on human rights. A 2022 MacArthur Fellow, she advocates for Reproductive Justice and co-created its theory. She also served as National Coordinator of the SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective. Ross co-directed the 2004 March for Women’s Lives in D.C. and founded the National Center for Human Rights Education. She was the third Executive Director of the RCC in Washington D.C., becoming the first Black women in that role.
