Lòrien is an all-female ensemble composed of Vera Della Scala (vocals), Marta Ghezzi (violin) and Marta Celli (harp). From the synergy of the three musicians, animated by a common passion for “Celtic” culture, for those lands of enchantment and wonder, of myths and legends, an eclectic and versatile musical project is born that evokes arcane and folkloristic sounds. The sweet accompaniment of the Celtic harp, combined with the lyrical vocals and intense sound of the violin, colors the show with suggestive harmonies. A captivating and engaging atmosphere that transports you to a dimension of ancient nuances. A musical journey through the lands of Ireland, Scotland, England, Brittany, from which echoes of distant times resurface, from the Middle Ages, to the Renaissance up to today's folk. “In Lórien the things of the past were still alive. Evil had been seen and heard there, and pain had been felt many times; the Elves feared and distrusted the rest of the world: the wolves howled at the edges of the wood: but in the land of Lórien there was no shadow...” JRRTolkien
