Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman has said the Menendez brothers must fully acknowledge and fully accept responsibility for the murder of their parents before he would support their release from prison.
At a press conference on Monday, Hochman said he would ask the court to withdraw the resentencing motion filed in the case by his predecessor.
Erik and Lyle Menendez were convicted in 1996 of the shooting deaths of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, and sentenced to life in prison without parole.
