A Dallas beautician and housewife is enthralled by President and Mrs. John F. Kennedy, and is like an excited schoolgirl at the thought of their visit to her hometown in November 1963. During the turbulent days following JFK's assassination, she joins two others on a journey of self-discovery and together they experience a collision of prejudice, a test of friendship and an awakening of emotions.
