Low Cost Reverse Polarity and Over Current Protection (Corrected)

Low cost consumer device trade-offs for reverse polarity and over current protection. The previous version of this video had errors in the schematic which are now corrected.

I slipped up and several volts across the diode. Meant to say several tenths of a volt 0.2V - 0.7V

A Viewer spotted that I said voltage flows through the diode.. Nope. Should've said current. Difficult to do these quick videos in a single take.
