The Loyalsock Trail is located in north central Pennsylvania and is roughly 60 miles long.
I met Ruth while I was hiking the trail in late May of 2014 and found her to be an encyclopedia about the area, the trail, and its history. I made this for fun - to make myself do something - and to give Ruth a chance to share some of the stuff she gets excited about.
Ruth is pictured standing by Rode Falls in the 1970s - around the 8:35 mark.
Most of this was shot in 4K, entirely on a GH4.
