3 months without you now. It hasn't really gotten easier. I miss you, and the way you squeezed your eyes shut when you laughed, the way you hugged me so gently and carefully, the way you used to press your forehead against mine and make this funny fish face, I miss you.
I always wanted to write a song for you, but like the perfectionist I am every single draft I wrote couldn't come close to fully capturing my love and devotion for you. It couldn't come close to capturing the perfect being that you were. I still think I could've written this one better, I wish you could hear it regardless. I remember how proud you were when I showed you "I Don't Care", the way you would spam links to everyone, shouting to the world how proud you were of your girlfriend. I was so lucky. I was so happy. I'm forever thankful I got to meet you and fall in love with you.
