Yichun City, located in the heart of the Lesser Khingan Mountains in northern Heilongjiang Province and bordering Russia, is known as China’s "Forest Capital." Once a vital base for the country’s forest industry, the city’s main industries revolved around logging and wood processing. In recent years, however, logging has been banned to promote environmental conservation. Yichun has since transformed its identity, branding itself as "China’s Green Lung" and a "Forest Oxygen Bar" while actively developing its health and wellness tourism industry. Atlas ventures into this small city, surrounded by vast forests stretching hundreds of kilometers, and experiences the first snowfall of the Northeast trip—a moment of sheer joy and excitement.
