This video was filmed on March 8 in Lviv during a cycling tour through the city's sunny streets 🚲☀️. Spring was already in the air: many girls with flowers, people enjoying the warm day, and the city waking up after winter.
I rode through Lviv's historic streets, each with its own unique past:
📍 Panteleimon Kulish Street – named after a Ukrainian writer, this street has been an important transport route since the 19th century.
📍 Sholom Aleichem Street – named after the famous Jewish writer, author of Tevye the Dairyman. It was once a lively part of Lviv’s Jewish community.
📍 Lystopadovoho Chynu Street – connected to the November Uprising of 1918, when the Western Ukrainian People's Republic was declared.
📍 St. George’s Church Square – a peaceful place near the magnificent St. George's Cathedral, one of Lviv’s most iconic landmarks and a UNESCO heritage site.
📍 Metropolitan Andrey Street – named after Andrey Sheptytsky, a great Ukrainian philanthropist and religious leader.
📍 Stepan Bandera Street – one of Lviv’s main roads, named after the leader of the Ukrainian nationalist movement.
