A Snapshot of 1960s Drama in England: In 1961, renowned playwright Samuel Beckett checks into a Folkestone hotel under a pseudonym, seeking solace in anonymity. He befriends Janet, a young receptionist who juggles her studies with her job. Through their mutual appreciation of an Agatha Christie novel, Janet finds herself drawn into a web of loyalty and moral dilemmas. The story, a blend of fact and fiction, captures Beckett's mysterious stay as a precursor to his marriage.
