The WWII firebomb raids on Japanese urban areas were 29 times more destructive than the atomic bombs combined. The video will discuss the WWII M69 firebombs. 38 M69 firebombs were packed into the E46 incendiary cluster canister. When released, by the b-29 bomber, a fuse timer would start. At the end of the timers duration the cluster canister would release the 38 M69 bombs would strike urban buildings and penetrate into the interior. Once inside, the bombs ejected 2.8 lbs of Napalm. Incendiary bombs were responsible for destroying 42% of Japan's urban core during the firebomb raids.
