An elderly widow is a tough independent woman who lives with her daughter in law, Ketaki, and her grandson, Aniket. After her son's untimely death in a road accident, she starts serving lunch boxes to the local villagers with her daughter in law to make ends meet. Both women have buried their grief in work over the years but it hovers around them like a ghost. Their life's monotony is rocked by the entry of a new customer, who takes a liking to Ketaki and Aniket.
