On this day, Team Sooryagayathri presents Maathrupanchakam by Adi Shankaracharya !
There is no one in the world who cannot recognize the greatest truth, which is The Mother. Even among the greatest monks the world has ever seen, Adi Shankaracharya stood with unspeakable emotion before the wonder of the mother. When a spontaneous outflow of inner grief and love manifested from the Great Saint towards his mother, this Maathrupanchakam came into existence.
A Mother nursing another being in her for nine months, her birth pangs, feeding and bringing up her baby into a child and see her child grow into an independent adult is the greatest reward and joy she gets for her motherhood. Every child is indebted to his or her mother in this birth or any other. Mother is not just a person. Mother is an institution of sorts. She is embodiment of Grace, compassion and endurance. She is a treasurable ideal in each one's life.
Today, we dedicate this to all the Mothers and pray to God that the eternal feeling of Motherhood remains like this forever.
