Macro Lens: Wide Angle Vs Zoom (And Which I Love More!)

In this week's macro photograph tutorial I show the difference between using a wide angle macro lens and a telephoto zoom macro lens. I also show how I use the different focal lengths to find different compositions, how I use LED lighting and how I use focus stacking to get my subject looking sharp.

I take my new Canon 24mm f/1.8 lens into the heart of the Blairadam country park and I love the view it can capture versus my Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. Really, I adore both lenses and I show a mix of images from both that I'm super pleased with.

One lens isn't necessarily better than the other and ideally you'd have both options in your kit bag. But I'd love to know which of my images you prefered in this video so do please leave your thoughts below.
