I made my first every contact through PO-101 satellite with #KC0ECQ in Missouri all with 5 Watts output on UHF from my back deck using the Arrow Portable II hand held yagi antenna. I also took a look some of the features of this radio and how to get started using it by being able to program both simplex and repeater frequencies by hand, as well as how to use a few common features of this radio. Make sure to subscribe fore more content like this, because I have at least one more video planned with this radio and then I will be doing a giveaway of this radio on the channel so stay tuned!
