As seen at winter NAMM 2017, Magnatrack new drum triggers are expanding the possibilities in electronic drumming and simplifying the build of hybrid acoustic to electric drum playing with the two piece magnetic sensitive drum sensors. This video shows unboxing, testing, and my review of the Magnatrack drum triggers. Triggers are connected through a Roland drum module, then drum midi data is sent to Addictive Drums sample library and Logic Drumset designer for comparison. Drum sets heard in video are Addictive Drums Fairfax, Black Velvet, Blue Oyster, and Metal. I also cover an example how to set up a hybrid acoustic and electric drum set and choose drum sample sounds.
