Maiden Voyage of SL Llareggub (a Marten, Howes & Baylis ‚Project X‘)

The maiden voyage of the Fast Commuter Steam Launch 'Llareggub' . A Project X model produced by Brian Marten and Martin Baylis (boat kit by Brian and steam plant by Martin). Built mostly following the instruction, taking some liberties in details. This model is their vision for a 50 foot fast commuter launch and day boat of the early 1900s for use on inland waters. The steam launch is named 'Llareggub' after the little town featured in the 1954 radio drama "Under Milk Wood" by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas.
