This place is called Makalu, Makalu is the fifth-highest mountain on Earth, with a summit at an elevation of 8,485 meters. It is located in the Sankhuwasabha district protected by Makalu Barun National Park It is also located in the Mahalangur Himalayas 19 km southeast of Mount Everest, on the China–Nepal border.
We went to this place last year around October, which was the time of the Dashain festival. The journey starts from Dharan to Makalu Base Camp, which took us 15 days. The beauty of this place is undefined, but we tried our best to capture the scenic world of Makalu. We made this video as a guide for future travelers, as we cover the know and unknowns of the journey.
