Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Build this simple graduated cutting board using two contrasting hardwoods. This is a great scrap wood project to use up some scrap material that you have been saving. Simple cutting boards with contrasting woods are easy to make for beginning woodworkers, and you can accomplish a lot with a minimal set of inexpensive tools. People might wonder; can I make a wood strip cutting board if I don't have a jointer? Yes! There is no jointer required for this wood strip cutting board if you follow the steps that I cover here and use the blade that I use. Choosing the right blade for a cutting board project is an important step. The one that I have found to work the best is listed in the links below, as it gives a glue-line rip with no need for jointing, and it minimizes the waste due to its thin kerf.
