Make beautiful Excel charts like the Wall Street Journal (WSJ). 🔥Take our Power BI course: https://www.careerprinciples.com/courses/power-bi-for-business-analytics 🆓 DOWNLOAD Free Excel file for this video: https://careerprinciples.myflodesk.com/oaojzrdvms In this video, we create 3 Wall Street Journal charts and visuals in Excel. The Wall Street Journal is one of the most famous newspapers with some of the best visuals in the industry. That’s why I want to show you how to replicate three of their most common charts in Excel. Because they usually use fancy software like indesign or after effects, recreating this in Excel will be a challenge. First, we'll create a line chart with a fill in between the two lines. This will require using a combo chart combining a line chart and a stacked bar chart. Second, we'll create a radar chart with a low transparency fill. Finally, we'll create a special visual by changing the sizing of Excel cell shapes. To add color, we'll create conditional formatting based on the numbers shown in the cell. All of the charts are from the Wall Street Journal Instagram page.
